PYP Sprint Competition Results

I would like to express my heartfelt congratulations and appreciation for all the swimmers who participated in the sprint competition yesterday. First and foremost, I would like to extend my sincere congratulations to each and every swimmer for their outstanding performances. Mr. Deni and I are incredibly proud of all the swimmers, as we witnessed remarkable displays of skill and determination. It is worth mentioning that every swimmer managed to improve their personal best times, which is a testament to their hard work and dedication. I am delighted to inform you that the PYP team secured the second place in a challenging competition against five other schools. This achievement is a reflection of the team's exceptional talent and effort. Please convey my warmest congratulations to all the swimmers for their remarkable performance.

 

I would also like to express my gratitude to Mrs. Katia for her invaluable support during the competition. Despite her children, Alex and Sofia, being ill, Mrs. Katia went above and beyond to assist the team. She demonstrated unwavering dedication by cheering the team on, capturing memorable photos, and helping me organize the swimmers for their events. Her selflessness and commitment are truly commendable.

 

However, I must take a moment to address a minor issue that occurred. Due to a misunderstanding, Farah (Grade 4) and Stainslaw (Grade 3) were unable to attend the competition. We sincerely appreciate the effort and commitment of each and every swimmer on the team, and we deeply regret any inconvenience caused by this misunderstanding. Please accept my apologies for this unfortunate situation.

 

Lastly, I would like to express my gratitude to the swimmers who willingly stepped up to cover for their teammates' events due to illness. Your sportsmanship and team spirit exemplify the values we strive to instill in our swimmers, and your support was crucial in ensuring the success of the competition. These swimmers are:
